Three more days until RootsTech 2022! Yay! (If you don't know what RootsTech is, learn about it here.) Plus, March starts tomorrow! Yippee!! I love March because it brings spring. I also love it for St. Patty's day, and its focus on Irish roots, which I expand to focusing on all ethnicities and all roots. You'll see that theme appear in the March section of my Family Devotionals ebook over here. I list links to many family history stories under the March heading.
Speaking of roots, who watched Relative Race Season 9 premiere yesterday? (Relative Race is a show where people are always looking for roots, so I'm mentioning it again, after blogging about it on Saturday.) I love the new type of challenge the episode showed. As usual, I cried when people find long-lost family. It's just so touching!
OK, so today's "connect to your roots" story as we countdown to RootsTech is called "The Parents You Never Knew" by JuLee Dunnaway. In this story, a young woman who was adopted in the U.S. after being born in Korea searches for her roots. She joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at age 14. Wondering what to do after she graduated from high school, she asked for and received her patriarchal blessing. In her blessing she was told that:
"You will have the great privilege of performing work for and in behalf of your family, the parents you have not known. If you will search for your family records, help will come from on high; the heavens will respond to your prayers if you fast and pray and if you will be faithful in giving of your time and talents."
Providentially, she was called to serve a mission in Korea. This allowed her to search out her roots, after she had been wondering how the above prophecy would come true. She wrote, "I knew I needed to do my genealogy work, but I couldn't understand the part about 'the parents you have not known.' I had no idea who my natural parents were or how to find out. As far as I knew, I was an orphan when I was adopted."
So what happened when she went to Korea? You will have to read the rest of the story here to find out! If you love family history stories, which I assume you do if you have read this far, then you will love it!

Though we in the west can only speculate on his true motives when Vladimir Putin said that he was targeting "Nazis" he was likely referring to the Azov Battalion, a group the western press is either oblivious of or willfully neglecting.
Not many Americans are aware of the Azov Battalion. Interestingly enough, NBC was apparently unaware of this group when it aired on February 14th that preparations were being made for a Russian attack., promoting the Azov Battalion as an example in their report. Those in the know caught the error immediately:
As per the World Socialist Website:
In a news broadcast Monday evening, NBC's chief foreign policy correspondent Richard Engel told viewers how "some communities" in Ukraine are preparing for a war with Russia by "taking matters into their own hands."
The report showed Ukrainian soldiers delivering "basic training for the whole family," "first aid" and "weapons training" to a small group of Mariupol residents, including children and the elderly. One of them, 79-year-old Valentyna Konstantynovska, wielding an AK-47, was made the face of "Ukrainian resistance" by the world's newspapers.
Engel left out of his account the fact that the military formation providing Konstantynovska's training was the neo-Nazi Azov Battalion, clearly identifiable by its Wolfsangel insignia used by Hitler's SS in the Second World War.
Below is NBC's video of the Azov Battalion shared in the tweet.

Members of this group were recognized at the US Embassy in Ukraine in 2014. The group purportedly is violent, particularly against groups like transvestites, gypsies, and immigrants.
Guess who has ties to this group? None other than everyone's favorite, stalwart president; Joe Biden.
It's not some well-kept secret that Biden has "friends" in Ukraine, and not all of them are exemplary individuals. Among them is the Azov Battalion, the very same neo-Nazi group associated with previously mentioned violent atrocities against immigrants, gypsies, and transvestites in Ukraine.

Unfortunately for the Barrack O'Biden regime, there appears to be damning evidence of their relationship with this Nazi group. They were photographed recognizing the group at the US Embassy in Ukraine back in 2014, when they were alleged to be installing their own regime.
This group is also connected with the former leader of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, who has been accused of being an installed puppet.
This group has rallied in the streets of Kyiv and raised their Nazi flags there. One particularly violent member of the group is one Maxim Yarosh.
Yarosh was shown to have been close enough to the former Obama-approved leader Poroshenko to share a flight with him from South America to Europe. According to Gateway Pundit, Yarosh is said to:
"get his kicks out of assaulting immigrants, gypsies, and transvestites in Ukraine. He has filmed himself during his assaults and takes pride in beating these innocents."
Here is a video showing Maxim Yarosh assaulting a woman in Ukraine starting at the 2:40 mark (WARNING VIOLENT).
It gets weirder, these Ukrainian neo-Nazis were also spotted at the US Capitol on Jan 6. These individuals have never been discussed or subpoenaed by the sham January 6th investigation.
This is just one more object of intrigue on the pile of reasons why we should take a deeper look at the Biden family's suspicious ties to Ukraine.
